Hola! My name is Sebastián Ortiz, but most people call me Sebas. I’m from the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia, and I’m thrilled to take you on Sebas’ creative journey, where self-expression, passion, and resilience shape my path toward becoming a makeup artist and more. 🥰
Growing Up in Bogotá
Growing up in Bogotá has shaped me into the person I am today. It’s a massive, bustling city full of life and energy, but it can also feel overwhelming. Living here taught me how to be independent from a young age—to navigate through the crowds, stay resilient, and carve out my own space amidst the chaos.
My favourite part of the city is the downtown area, where I love spending time with Lars, my friends, or family. The variety of places to explore, the cultural richness, and the lively atmosphere make it a special spot in my heart.
Passions That Define Me
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to creative and physical pursuits that allow me to express myself and push my limits. Here are the passions that have shaped who I am today:
1. Makeup
For instance, my passion for makeup began at home, watching my mother and sister carefully apply their makeup every morning. Their routines inspired me, and I couldn’t resist diving into the world of colours, textures, and creativity. Over time, makeup became more than just a skill—it became a way to tell stories, express emotions, and connect with others. One day, I dream of becoming a renowned makeup artist, showcasing my work on the best fashion runways in the world.
2. Sports
Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve practiced gymnastics and cheerleading, as well as speed skating, each teaching me discipline, resilience, and the thrill of achieving physical goals. In fact, these experiences fuel my determination to become the best version of myself, physically and mentally. Fitness isn’t just a routine for me—it’s a way to challenge myself and grow.
3. Fashion
For instance, fashion allows me to express myself in ways that words cannot. Each outfit I wear reflects my mood, creativity, and individuality, helping me share a piece of my story with the world. Over time, fashion has become more than just clothing—it’s a form of self-expression and empowerment. One day, I dream of inspiring others with my unique style while collaborating with top designers to create unforgettable looks on global runways.

Discovering Europe
The first time I visited Europe, I was fascinated by its efficiency and diversity. Moreover, the public transportation system blew me away—it’s functional, fast, and doesn’t get congested like the streets of Bogotá! But what truly captured my heart was the multiculturalism. Seeing so many different cultures coming together in one place inspired me and broadened my perspective on the world.
Meeting Lars
Meeting Lars was a turning point in my life. He’s not only my partner but also my biggest supporter and inspiration. Together, we’ve created a beautiful journey filled with love, growth, and shared dreams. Whether we’re exploring Bogotá’s downtown streets or even planning our future together, every moment feels like an adventure.
